Mesmerism
When the mirror of self shatters
The clarity and vividness explodes, shines unconstrained
It has a taste of electrifying luminosity
In Tibetan this is called ösel
Meaning, no one and nothing can ever harm you, what you are
Like a diamond
Your true nature is impenetrable, indestructible
i would not wish the process itself for everyone
(unless you are wired that way)
The imaginary play
The whole wide open spectrum
In all its strange power, terror and beauty
It feels so real, surreal, unreal
Non arising! Non ceasing! Magical!
Projections cannot take hold
i had to face my deepest existential fears
For this to somehow become viscerally clear
My deepest existential desires
That do not even feel like they are mine
Leaving no trace
Vanishing in flavorless immediacy
Finding comfort in that mesmerism
There is a kind of softening
That at one point feels like ever sweet exhaustion
Enigmatic immovability, beginningless relaxation
Then all-pervading gratitude
Ecstatic relinquishment
Resting in the empty luminous nature
